Adam Fonta
Trial Lawyer & Founder
Adam founded Lionheart Injury Law in September 2025 to help injured people enforce their civil rights to full compensation after an accident. He tries cases, and insurance companies price his clients' claims accordingly: in 2024, Adam was part of the trial team that won a $30 million jury verdict for a worker catastrophically injured at a Colorado oil and gas site, ranked #4 among the Top 10 Verdicts in Colorado in 2024.
Adam earned his J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 2016 and began his career at an international law firm handling white-collar litigation and appeals, training he now puts to work against the insurance industry's own defense playbook. He represents clients in car and truck crashes, catastrophic injuries, negligent security cases, and insurance bad faith disputes across Colorado.

- Member, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA)

Before law school, Adam served in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia, living alongside coffee-farming families. Years later he partnered with those same farmers to build a direct-trade coffee importing and roasting business, returning value straight to the growers, and he remains deeply involved in Colorado's Ethiopian community today. That history is why language access is built into the firm rather than bolted on: Lionheart is the only personal injury law firm in Colorado with a team that collectively speaks Spanish, Amharic, Oromo, and Tigrinya, a reflection of Adam's belief that every injured person deserves elite representation regardless of background or language.
Before the law there was music: Adam studied piano performance under the acclaimed pianist Kemal Gekic at Florida International University, where he double-majored in English. Adam speaks English and Spanish. He is also a certified yoga teacher, which makes him one of the few Colorado trial lawyers who can handle a yoga studio injury case with firsthand knowledge of the discipline.
